Shot in the seaside town of Sai Kung (Hong Kong) temple sea Feng Shui (2016) is an instillation by Josette Chiang.

The work maps a Feng Shui sightline between the historic Tin Hau temple and the seafront. Built in the 18th century for the protection of seafarers by the Sea Goddess, the temple was originally situated on the coast before massive land reclamation in the 1960's and 1970's shifted the coastline a few hundred meters east.

Josette Chiang is a Chinese British artist. She is currently Artist in Residence in the Wellington Asia Residency Exchange Programme (WARE) in Wellington. Josette’s residency is supported by Wellington City Council, the Asia New Zealand Foundation and Circuit.

Temple sea Feng Shui is presented as part of the Artist Week leading up to the 2016 Circuit symposium Phantom Topologies.

Temple Sea Feng Shui runs until 10 September.
