Catalyst presents inSight: a sneak peek into our future (Queenstown's science, technology and innovation week).

The Age of Alzheimer's.

Professor Cliff Abraham examines just where are we at with Alzheimer's research. What is the history, why are statistics showing more and more people are being impacted by this condition, and how is current research shaping the future for diagnosis, treatment and management?

This event is free. Donations are welcome.

Professor Cliff Abraham has played a leading role in promoting neuroscience research and teaching at the University of Otago. He is Director of Otago’s Brain Health Research Centre and Director of a major HRC-funded research programme investigating biomarkers and therapeutic agents for Alzheimer’s disease. He has chaired the Australasian Winter Conference on Brain Research, New Zealand’s annual neuroscience meeting, for 12 years.
