One night. One street. One building. One beer. One seat. Three musical extravaganzas that will simply blow your ears off. We love playing to you beautiful people of Wellington and this will be a special night, in a special venue. Plus we'll be joined by two great Auckland acts who, like a fine entree, will start your evening of musical a la carte perfectly.

The Frank Burkitt Band truly are maturing and are emerging as one of New Zealand's finest string bands, playing music steeped in several genres but what they've started to describe as 'Acoustic Swing'. Really special songwriting that you can genuinely relate to. Honest. Check out some video and music here

The tender and delicate Fables combine vocals, guitar and cello and the sumptuous bearded wizard that is Chris Dent a.k.a Albi will make you fall in love with him with every strum. He's more lovable than a Labrador puppy but with cracking rhythm and a real musical energy.

A night of original music that you'll seriously enjoy. And only $20!!

Fables - Watch here:
At only 19 years old, Jess has already spent years performing and has shared the stage with modern folk notables Great North, The Remarkables, Chris Preistley and Nadia Reid, with performances at the home of Auckland folk, The Bunker.

Recorded at Stebbing Recording Studios in Herne Bay with Steve McGough, “Home” is the first offering from Fables. Written by Jess when she was 15, the song has been worked and tumbled and re-worked ever since, featuring Laurence Diack on Cello and BVs and Sam Loveridge on guitar, fiddle and BVs.

Albi (Chirs Dent) - Watch here:
Albi, Chris Dent, has been singing ever since he was a child and started writing songs in his late teens. He is the front man of Auckland sensations 'Albi and the Wolves' and also takes to the stage as a solo artist. He has honed his performance and songwriting skills by playing numerous festivals and concerts around New Zealand including RnV, Auckland Folk Festival, Selective Sounds and Wellington Folk Festival. Rock and Soul shine through his percussive guitar style and beautifully distinct voice but he is unquestionably a folky, writing songs from his big, soppy heart and delivering them confidently to keep you gripped.
