Our short and sweet event series featuring ‘not just music’. Violinist Martin Riseley will perform Bach's legendary Chaconne for solo violin, which Joshua Bell called 'not just one of the greatest pieces of music ever written, but one of the greatest achievements of any man in history.'

Dr Richard Millington from the School of Languages and Cultures will give a talk on the Faust legend - its legacy and retellings.

And for the final piece in the programme, Martin Riseley will be joined by Rafaella Garlick-Grice (piano) to perform Violin Concerto No. 1 by a legendary composer and violinist—who else but Paganini?

Tickets include a glass of wine after the event - we invite you to stay on and meet the presenters.
