In support of the Pink Ribbon Appeal being organised by the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation, Napier Arts Club - together with their Sponsor Pink Total Transport and local guest artists - are holding a "Think Pink" Exhibition & Sale of artwork in their clubrooms at 122 Vigor Brown Street in Napier.

All artworks will contain some element of pink, whether it be the materials used, the title or the inspiration behind them and a percentage of sales proceeds will be donated to the NZ Breast Cancer
Foundation's Pink Ribbon Appeal, together with the proceeds of an auction of works by the guest artists, a raffle and an entry fee from contributing artists from the Napier Arts Club.

Bill Dalton, the Mayor of Napier, has kindly agreed to open the exhibition at 5:30pm on 13th October in the clubrooms, during which a selection of works by Sue Schaare, Helen Dynes, Karen Johnston and Bari Duncan will be auctioned by Hawke's Bay's only female auctioneer, Tina Chamberlain of Austins Real Estate who is very generously donating her services free of charge. Clearview Estate Winery is kindly supplying a quantity of their award-winner Black Reef "Blush' rose wine, finger food will be pink-themed including sushi from O'Sushi in Civic Court Napier, and invited guests are being requested to get into the spirit of the occasion by also wearing some element of pink - whether it be a scarf, jewellery, shoes, tie, shirt, hat or whatever.

A raffle will be on display for the duration, to be drawn at 4pm on Sunday, 16th October by the President of Napier Arts Club.

For further information, including invitations to the opening event, please ring 06 843 59 26.
