Waitomo Trail Run promises to be a true New Zealand underground and overground adventure. On 30 April, explorers will run or walk over and under 6, 11, 22 or 33 km of landscape that has to be seen to be believed.

Walkers, runners, kids – indeed explorers of all ages are welcome to this amazing Kiwi discover the hidden Waitomo, New Zealand. With surreal karst-studded landscapes, caves, native bush, vibrant working farms, tunnels, canyons and glowworms, it’s as magical as you can possibly get. The courses have plenty of adventure and less-adventurous options, guaranteeing something for everyone.

Everyone will have the chance to explore underground as well as hidden gems tucked away on private properties. The scenery is simply breathtaking – you will run through the farms that Sir Peter Jackson has described as “… way to pretty for The Hobbit“. Waitomo magic awaits the pitter-patter of your trail running shoes/hobbit feet.
