A programme of public events mark this year’s Anzac Day commemorations in 2016 – 100 years since the first New Zealand Anzac Day Service.

Anzac Day events taking place on Anzac Day in Wellington:

- *5.30 a.m: Dawn Service, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park
- 9 a.m: Wellington Citizens Wreath-Laying Service, Cenotaph Precinct, corner of Lambton Quay and Bowen Street
- 11 a.m: Anzac Day 2016 National Commemoration, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park
- 2.30 p.m: Ataturk Memorial Service, Ataturk Memorial, Tarakena Bay, Strathmore
- **5.30 p.m: The Last Post Ceremony, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park
- 6pm to10pm: WWI Remembered: A Light and Sound Show 2016, Facade of National War Memorial, Carillon, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park

*The Order of Service for the Dawn Service at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park can be found at ww100.govt.nz/order-of-service, which is a mobile-friendly website.
At the completion of the Dawn Service tea and biscuits will be served in the Arras Tunnels. Further instructions will be announced after the Dawn Service.
**A choral performance by the New Zealand Secondary Students' Choir starts at 5.10 p.m. before the Last Post ceremony.

Mobility parking and Transport Information
There is no mobility parking in front of Pukeahu National War Memorial Park for any of the events on Anzac Day. Mobility parking will be available in the Top of Tory car park on Tory Street. From here, free shuttles will transport attendees to Pukeahu.
