Personal Narrative - What story are you telling yourself?

We use stories every day to give order to the multiplicity of our experiences. Connecting the dots that create meaning for you helps you to feel sure of your direction, to trust your own story, and to develop your unique perspective.

So what do we need in order to convert our experiences into a narrative we like, and when does it get tricky?

How can we increase the power that we have over our self-narrative? especially when things like anxiety make it harder to know which thought patterns to keep and which to interrogate?

How can we increase self-awareness as we construct an ongoing self-narrative, and what role does inherited narrative play in that?

We love talking about what it takes to make wellbeing a priority. This is one from a series of wānanga offering a safe and facilitated space where we can come together to unpack our wellness experiences. Join us for a cuppa and a conversation about what's on top, share tools and tips and listen.

Wānanga from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Teapot will be hot from 5pm!

You are welcome to make a full evening of it and stay to take this theme straight into Yoga at 6:45pm ($15) or wind down with Mindful Clay Sculpting at 8:15pm ($15).
