Is playfulness the missing piece from your wellbeing puzzle? How do you find chances to goof around, enter into lighthearted competition, or concentrate fully on process rather than results? We are all explorers - so when is your next opportunity to follow your imagination somewhere new According to psychiatrist Dr. Stuart Brown; “Nothing lights up the brain like play.”

Play has been proven to heal emotional wounds, increase productivity, help us to be more creative problem solvers, and make us more able to overcome stress… so how are we doing it? What do we need, in order to reclaim our inner child?

How can we activate our impulses and generate joy within a lifestyle preoccupied with productivity and with behaving ‘like an adult’? How does rejecting playfulness impact on our wellbeing?

We love talking about what it takes to make wellbeing a priority. This is one from a series of wānanga offering a safe and facilitated space where we can come together to unpack our wellness experiences. Join us for a cuppa and a conversation about what's on top, share tools and tips and listen.

All welcome. $5 Koha for tea and vitamins.
Wānanga from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Teapot will be hot from 5pm!

You are welcome to make a full evening of it and stay to take this theme straight into Yoga at 6:45pm ($15) or wind down with Mindful Clay Sculpting at 8:15pm ($15).
