Described by the artist as whimsical thoughts that cover her past, "Window to the Falling Sun" is an exhibition of works by Palmerston North artist Annabel that developed from early collages; each designed to make a statement.

The other ideas in her paintings are references to people, shapes and landscapes which are familiar to her. The shapes often recur and she looks on them as providing a theme for these works. The lines and angles interweave with the shapes which complete and balance the work.

Wellington artist Catherine "Model Habitat" series features various models in an environment balancing human and natural design. Advertising these habitats are mainly people, lizards and an owl. An owl features in one painting as it looks over ‘Roads of National importance’ suggesting a strain between other inhabitants and ourselves in a largely human-dominated world.

Catherine revisits and revises old and new images in a refining process by sifting through her works of life-drawing, photography, collage and portrait.
