We want to discuss how we can enjoy and enhance the Hutt riverside and better connect the river with our central city.

These workshops are part of the RiverLink project. Along with the improved flood protection planned between Kennedy Good and Ewen bridges, we are also considering the riverside design, a promenade on the eastern bank to better connect the city with the river, and transport links into and around this part of our CBD.

These will be relaxed and informative sessions hosted by Hutt City and Greater Wellington Regional councils

We will be inviting people to place symbols on maps and write down ideas about the natural environment, recreation opportunities, and improved lifestyle and amenities in this section of the Hutt River.

We’re holding two community workshops, which you’re welcome to call in to:
- 29 September 2016, call in between 2pm-7pm
- 1 October 2016, call in between 11am-4pm
