This event is for people who understand the truth about 1080 poison, that it takes over 100 hours to kill many animals, that it kills everything that breathes oxygen, including our native birds, that the excuse of "we must kill possums as they eat our native birds and eggs" is a lie (Landcare possum diet study 2004.) And that a large fraudulent crime is taking place around the issue of TB and possums (refer to the revelations of Richard Prosser in parliamentary questions.)

Just before this event those that can make it earlier please meet 11am outside Federated Farmers 154 Featherston St (700metres from Beehive) to show our signs and disapproval of fed farms pushing of this poison on us. At midday we start strolling to the Beehive, arriving at 1pm.

Winston Peters and Richard Prosser will meet us on the steps of parliament to speak with us about the tragic mistake of 1080 poison. Graham Sperry from will speak also about the appalling level of wrongdoing that is the 1080 gravy train of inhumane death. We will be asking for a ban on 1080 poison and a re-start of hunter training schools for a more humane and sustainable pest control future. Join us to make a difference.
