Join us this holidays to design your very own name plaque to take away.

Every sailor in the Navy has to make sure they are ‘tiddly’, that’s Navy speak for tidy. This includes looking after their uniform and making sure they don’t lose it. One of the new recruits first jobs is to stencil their name onto their water bottles and onto their name badge. In the old days, sailors used to each have a wooden name stamp that they would use to print their name onto their uniform and other possessions.

Come and find out more about this and design your very own name plaque to take away using the same kind of stencils as the BCTs (they’re the newest sailors in our Navy!)

Cost: $3 per plaque
