A family-friendly, outdoor Sunday market featuring specialty produce, fresh flowers and handmade items with entertainment, artisan food stalls and a pop-up tearoom on the verandah!

Alberton is a beautiful 1863 timber mansion with Indian influenced turrets in Mt Albert, run by Heritage New Zealand. It has tranquil grounds recalling the setting of a quaint country farm with flowerbeds, a vegetable patch, chicken coop and lots of sunny grassy areas.

We are delighted to announce Alberton's Market Days will continue for a second season, running on the 2nd Sunday of the month (except in January):
- 12 November 2017
- 10 December 2017
- 11 February 2018
- 11 March 2018
- 8 April 2018

Our next market will take place on Sunday 12 November!

As well as seasonal fruit & veg there will be homemade preserves, pickles and jams, fresh-cut flowers, honey, locally sourced meats and sausages, smoked fish, nut butters, deli products, boutique olive oil, homemade kombucha, artisan breads, sweet treats and fresh coffee.

Local makers will be selling beautiful handcrafted goods such as cards, prints, jewellery, candles, homewares, kids clothes, soap, beauty products and other unique trinkets.

Street food stalls TBA will offer a tempting array of options for brunch or lunch and Alberton's volunteers will be serving tea and light English scones with cream and jam on the verahadah. From the vintage china of course!

There will be live music, free garden workshops and talks, free or gold coin children's activities and face-painting and a huge hamper of goodies donated to by the stallholders up for grabs every month.

Shop local, direct from the growers, craftspeople and small independent businesses!

Discounted admission to the house (adults $8, children free). Alberton Market Days are proudly supported by Bayleys Mt Albert.
