Roy Phillips is the singer and keyboardist of 60's & 70's Britrock band The Peddlers.

Discovered by Frank Sinatra they broke through to the US charts selling 45 million records worldwide - the most sold by an NZ resident- with hits such as:
Birth, Girlie, Georgia on My Mind, Let the Sun Shine In, On a Clear Day (recently used in TV's Breaking Bad).

They recorded numerous hit singles and albums for CBS including Freewheelers, Three in a Cell, and Birthday.

The Peddlers enjoyed a hit recording project for 'Phillips' with the Royal Philharmonic orchestra. Suite London - Roy's excellent first major writing concept, which is now a collectors album.
From this point, song writing became Roy's main future. He has had over 200 songs published with a lot more to come.

Roy wrote the NZ Olympic Team Song “I Have A Dream” which Beatrice Faumuina reportedly found "extremely motivational".

His latest album Blue Groove was featured on BBC2’s Jools Holland Show.

Roy will be supported by the internationally performed Geoff Culverwell Quartet, who are playing jazz festivals throughout New Zealand this year.
