Not many people can make a subject like neuroscience burst into life. Nathan Wallis does this with ease while giving 1000 useful ways to put this knowledge into practice.

“Nathan has run workshops for WIO staff and we are always impressed how we can put our knowledge to use straight away,” said WIO’s Mark Bruce-Miller. “We can’t recommend him highly enough and we wanted to share this with the rest of the community.”

Nathan will show how our day-to-day interactions play a critical role in defining later outcomes in our lives. He explains the importance of the first 1000 days of child development, dealing with teenagers, how brains change as we age making this talk relevant to everyone.

Motueka High School have kindly provided the venue and with support from both NBS and Bowater Motor Group, all profits will be donated to the WIO fund for scholarships for young people to attend our programmes.

So, if you are a parent, a parent to be, a grandparent or whanau member, a teacher or early years educator – in fact if you live or work with people and you are looking for practical and inspirational ways to improve your relationships and effectiveness, then this talk is for you.
