Last year, in association with Fire Dragon Chilies, we held NZ's First Annual Hot Sauce Festival with over 100 hot sauces from 15 iconic NZ brands and this year, we back with more hot sauces and brands than ever.

All ticket holders receive a complimentary 60ml bottle of Fire Dragon Hot Sauce.

Fire Dragon Chillies creator Clint Meyer has brought his love for all things hot sauce to old school friend Mark Jackson, owner of Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen, and together the pair are presenting over 100 hot sauces from 13 of NZ’s top producers from around the country including;

Fire Dragon Chillies (Northland)
Wild West Worcester (Northland)
The Lucky Taco (Auckland)
Hottt Ass Chillies (Auckland)
Gringo Killer (Auckland)
Culleys( Auckland)
Orcona Chilli + Peppers (Hawke’s Bay)
Huffman’s Sauces (Wellington)
Baxter’s Original Sauces (Wellington)
Franks Red Hot (USA)
Ngapuhi Road (Kerikeri)
Sunwalker Hot Sauce (Matakana)
Mex U Crazy (Auckland by way of Mexico)
Hippyseed Company (Australia) featuring legendary chilli grower/reviewer, Neil Smith

Among the fiery line up will be at least 6 World Hot Sauce Award Champion winning sauces, live music, fiery cocktails and a spicy smokehouse food menu, created especially for the festival.

This year’s festival will also include the final of the 2017 NZ Chilli Eating Champs, an event in its 7th year featuring the world’s hottest chilli, the Carolina Reaper.

For all the chilli heads out there, a homemade hot sauce competition will be judged by NZ’s hot sauce producers, with gold taking away prizes from Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen and Fire Dragon Chillies, and of course bragging rights.

Earlybird tickets for the R18 event are only $10 on and include a bottle of limited edition Fire Dragon Chillies hot sauce, made especially for the festival. All hot sauces at the festival are available to purchase on the day.
