Auckland’s famous Fan Trail, between Queens Wharf and Eden Park, will be up and running for the first Test match of the DHL New Zealand Lions Series 2017.

Join thousands of fellow fans on a fun-filled 4.2km walking route stretching from downtown Auckland to Eden Park.

It will be packed with free, live entertainment and lots of activities, like street theatre, face-painting and giveaways, come rain or shine.

There will be roaming street performers and roller skaters, bagpipers, cheerleaders, light installations, a DJ, drag artistes, hip hop and fire dancers, the Clan Celtica Drummers and Celtic Flyers band, and snacks from the Puha & Pakeha Food Truck.

It will operate from 4pm on Saturday 24 June. Allow a couple of hours (no less than one hour) to walk the route to Eden Park so you can enjoy the free entertainment and activities along the way.

- If you have limited mobility, please be aware there are stairs from Myers Park to Karangahape Rd on the Fan Trail. A popular point to join the Fan Trail is the corner of Great North Rd and Ponsonby Rd, beyond the stairs and convenient for accessibility drop-off.
