The third event in the four events NZ Motorcycle Road Race Series for 2017. The event features a range of exciting action across the amazing Superbikes, Superstock 1000, Supersport, Superlite, Sidecars, Pro Twins, 125 GP, Lightweight Production and Production 250 racing for points across three races. The last group of races on Sunday campaign for the prestigious New Zealand Grand Prix in each of these classes. The race meeting is also supported by Super Motard and a Development Class.

And the event is not just about racing with motorcycle club displays and trade stalls on site to give you plenty to look at between the races. An A4 glossy race programme will be available for sale at the gate.

And in addition to racing, there will be motorcycle club static displays at the venue

A great day out for the family at the Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park to see great race action from the best road racers in New Zealand. The Superstock 1000 class will see some new Aprillia and Honda 1000 teams up against Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki mounted riders. Alex Phillis from Australia returns on the MV Agusta 675 F3 with Jake Lewis heading a strong Triumph team on T3 Racing tuned 675 triples. Cam Hudson, Damon Rees, and Shane Richardson will also be top contenders. Avalon Biddle the 2 x European Women's Road Race Champion will not let the guys have it all their own way either on here MTF sponsored machine. New to the class is Jet Josiah, son of former NZ Superbike champion Russell Josiah and last years NZ 125GP Champion Rogan Chandler of Wellington will campaign a Triumph 675.

Two full days of great racing from 150 plus riders will be the Summer event of Taupo, and not to be missed.
