Chocolate Factory Tours 2017

Come join us to learn about the magical world of chocolate making, as this tour introduces you to the entire process of making chocolate at WCF, New Zealand's first open to the public 'bean-to-bar' chocolate factory.

The tour traces the journey of making chocolate at WCF, from meeting the farmers to a delicious single origin, Fairtrade and Organic chocolate.

Age restriction: Children ages 7 and up.
We do host special kids tours for all ages during School Holidays.

Book in advance via email & pay the day you arrive!
Please know we don't take bookings on the day.

On this tour we will walk you around the public side of the factory, explaining the story of our chocolate. You will learn about its history, where our beans come from and how the staff at WCF roast, crack, winnow, conch and temper our chocolate in our custom built chocolate factory. The tour finishes with the chance to taste the full range of the factory's delicious single origin chocolates and includes a complimentary hot chocolate.

Bookings are essential: Email - bookings@wcf.co.nz
Bookings close 24 hours prior to the Tour.

Before you arrive:
We recommend that you keep a clean palate 1-hour before the tour, and try and refrain from drinking coffee or smoking in preparation for our chocolate tasting.

Parking can be found at the car park at Leeds Street and Ghuznee Street, just a few steps away from the WCF.
