The Multicultural New Zealand, New Zealand Human Rights Commission, Independent Police Conduct Authority, and Hui E have partnered to hold a series of youth workshops nationally.
The eighth of 12 workshops will be held in Dunedin, hosted by the Dunedin Multi-Ethnic Council. The purpose of these workshops is to explore some of the barriers that the NZ youth face when accessing social services particularly when they require assistance.
We believe that these workshops will provide a positive environment to interact, discuss these issues and mutually educate and inform.
The youth will also contribute towards developing a Youth app - Youth Aotea-Reo funded by New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO. This will serve as an ongoing national resource to support youth.
The workshop is free to attend, includes dietary appropriate meals, free transport to the venue and wifi. Open to all youth aged 14 - 25.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
We look forward to welcoming you.
