Number plate thefts are on the rise around the Waikato! Deter the crime and install safer screws!

Number plates are stolen to use as a cover up for a variety of different crimes, including petrol drive-offs, thefts and burglaries. Prevent yourself from falling victim with Safer Plates! Neighbourhood Support Cambridge, CPNZ, Cambridge Community Patrol and NZ Police invite you to our Safer Plates fundraising event.

We will be offering motorists the opportunity to have their number plate screws changed to a more secure, tamper deterrent screw for just $2.00 per vehicle. There will also be a Sausage sizzle, Safer Plates, NZ police, Neighbourhood Support and Civil Defence advice!

All proceeds from this fundraising event will go directly back into your local Community Patrol. Come along and grab a snag, have a chat to our local community patrol members, Neighbourhood Support and Police crime prevention officer.

Cambridge volunteer Fire Brigade and Cambridge St John will be in attendance to offer fire safety advice and medical safety advice.
