NZIBS proudly presents as part of their CPD workshop series: Consultants and the Construction Contracts Act – grey areas at the margins.

It’s just over 6 months since the Construction Contracts Act was extended to cover design, engineering and quantity surveying work for construction projects.

There are no definitions in the Act of what design, engineering and quantity surveying actually mean. Could your work or some aspect of your work be caught by the Act? If so, how does the Act affect you?

Rob Hay from Morgan Coakle Lawyers will provide some observations on the Act’s extension to consultants, and the implications for them and also their insurance position.

To register and attend this event please go to the website.

The registration fee covers the admin fee, venue cost, the networking session at the end of the day includes 1 x welcome drink & nibbles, or a light breakfast for the morning session and any handouts the presenter wishes to provide the attendees.

Registrations close on Thursday 11 May 2017, or until sold out.
