Craig Smith famed for his award winning book and song, the million selling ‘Wonky donkey‘ has teamed up again with illustrator Scott Tulloch and publisher scholastic to publish his brand new book "the scariest thing in the garden" he is releasing this brand new, laugh out loud book in late September...

Special one off Palmerston North school holiday appearance thanks to the local Library to release his new book Scariest Thing In The Garden Wed Oct 11th 10:30am gold coin, koha entry.

Also, he will be promoting his new album "not just for kids 2" and his 2018 crowd funded book "the drizzly bear".

Armed with his guitar, a number of puppets and costumes as well as a flash drive Craig is able to put on a forty five minute interactive show along with a ten minute question and answer session. The flash drive contains pdf files of all his songs in a book format so the whole room can follow along through his projection system . Ideal for children aged 2-9 years.

Craig will be available to sign all his books, CD's & T shirts at these shows as well as having Bruce Mckenzie Booksellers there offering anything folk want in Craig's range of releases including the new book 'Scariest Thing In The Garden'.

Craig Smith is an APRA children award winning, full time Musician/Author living in Queenstown. Craig's success in music has been across many genres and includes his children's music as well as his stories in song being turned into children's books for which he has won several NZ highest children's book awards "the NZ post book awards".

His now 4 albums have all been successful (one of them attaining gold status) but the one Craig enjoys playing the most is "not just for kids". Of which the song "The wonky donkey" is by far the most popular. This story in song was turned into a book in 2009 and was a #1 selling hit in both Australia and New Zealand with print runs around the world.

Followed closely by other stories in songbooks "Willbee the bumblebee", "Kaha the Kea", "My daddy ate an apple", "Square Eyes" and now just released "Eating". Craig Has now sold nearly a million copies of his books world wide. His shows are fun and full of children and parents laughing, dancing and singing.
