We're back for another round on the 8th of April with a whole new line-up of local acts and performers. Stay tuned for updates and bio's of those involved and for what will be another fun filled day of music and dance for the whole family!

Bring the family and come Dance with us Saturday 11th February at the Fencible Walkway in Howick Village. Be a part of this amazing family-oriented day as we fill the Fencible Walkway and neighbouring areas with live music, DJ's, creative performances, stalls, positive energy and connected people.

Watch your kids have fun in the designated kid's zone, eat some delicious food from the market area and enjoy a workshop or two. Share an afternoon and evening among fun-loving humans getting together and enjoying a love of music right in the centre of the Howick Village.

Dancing in the Park events are family-friendly, drug and alcohol-free events put together by Emote Trust for the public to share. Come and have a go at Acro Yoga, play an instrument or two, meet people and share conversation with someone you've never met before. Spin poi, try out your latest dance moves and watch some amazing Fire Dancing once the sun sets. Simply come and be present with a bunch of cool people enjoying family friendly and community building free events this summer.

What's happening:
There is space and music to dance and create throughout the afternoon and into the night from 11pm - 9pm. It doesn't matter whether you think you can dance or not, simply rock up and share the movement the music inspires in you. With 10 hours of music, performers and activities lined up, there is bound to be something that resonates with everyone.

The music, lights and dancing continues into the night, the fire dancer's environment. If you haven't seen what fire dancing is about, come check it out. If you have, have you ever wanted to give it a go?

Donations gratefully accepted.

This is an event for the public put together with a lot of love, support and goodwill of performers and helpers who love to share and connect. That being said, donations are gratefully accepted, so do keep an eye out for the white Emote Trust buckets on stage and around the rotunda, make a donation and help us keep this event going for all to share in the future.

For the fire dancers and those wanting to have a go and get stuck in having a really good burn, please bring a $10 contribution towards the cost of fuel.
