“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind” – Dr Seuss

Identity is unique for everyone. We all have our own experiences around our heritage, our upbringing and where we feel we fit within our community.

Auckland has the fourth most diverse population in the world. Therefore, we have a hugely rich tapestry of experiences and stories to discover and share.

Jackie van Beek (Funny Girls) hosts an evening of funny and poignant stories about identity from comedians and special guests. By bringing people together to celebrate our perspectives, we recognise collective experiences and grow understanding. Join us for a night of laughter that will leave you thinking.

Proceeds from Dialogue: Identity will be invested by the NZ Comedy Trust into the future development of the comedy industry.

You obviously have good taste, so this line is here to tell you to discover more awesome live comedy happening at the 2017 NZ International Comedy Festival powered by Flick Electric Co. from 27 April – 21 May.
