Friends of Rotorua Museum are pleased to host renowned New Zealand artist, Dick Frizzell, who will share his experiences as a professional artist.

The talk will take place at Te Rūnanga Tea House, Government Gardens, and will highlight the world of the art market from an artist’s perspective. Audience members will be encouraged to participate in a question and answer session - all opinions welcome!

Dick Frizzell is a graduate of the Canterbury School of Fine Arts, and has mastered a variety of media through the years including pencil, oil, and enamel. He initially trained as a teacher, and then moved into the field of animation followed by work as a graphic artist in advertising. He has won several travel grants which have allowed him to study in USA, Belgium, France and Spain, he currently resides in Auckland.

Light refreshments will be provided from 5:30pm with the talk beginning at 6pm.

Tickets are available to purchase from Rotorua Lakes Council Hub from Monday 18 September 2017. Numbers are limited for this popular talk so get in quick. Admission by ticket only.
