This is a family-oriented fundraising event which encourages whole families to get out and do some fun stuff together while also getting some good exercise.

There will be two routes for people to take, both of which would begin and end at Tasman Bay Christian School.

The shorter route is designed for those who are not into a long-distance walk/ride, primarily parents/caregivers with children under 7-8 years of age. These people can walk and/or ride bikes slowly down Aporo Road via the cycleway, with a midway stop at the Tasman Domain.

While at the Domain, parents/caregivers and children will be offered free drinking water and children will have the option of riding around the BMX track and playing on the Public Playground in the Domain. At their own pace, they will then head out of the Domain, and along the Cycleway to Tasman Bay Christian School.

The longer route will involve parents/caregivers and older children/adults heading off (walking, cycling, running) from Tasman Bay Christian School up Williams Road. They will then work their way around Dickers Road (most of which is a paper road gravel and dirt track).

The route comes down Dickers Road, then into Goddard Road, down Baldwin Road to Tasman Store, then along the cycleway to Tasman Bay Christian School. There will be a fun info treasure hunt sheet for children to fill out on their way around the route.

The event will conclude with food being sold on the grounds at Tasman Bay Christian School and various activities on the school’s playground from around 6pm.
