A gathering to learn about our amazing dune landscape and see the results of months of work on insect surveys – our dunes are home to an incredible variety of insect life, skinks and birds and special plants.

Forest & Bird and Coastcare and DOC are promoting dune restoration and protection with a display and presentation on the amazing variety of life that lives in our dunes. Learn why our dunes are so important for protection of the coastline.

Families, students, all residents and visitors to Papamoa and our dunes – join us for a sausage sizzle after the presentation.
