Eden: The Complete Inside Story.
Described as the 8th Wonder of the world. This is a unique chance to visit the Eden Project in the comfort of the Theatre at Titirangi with cinematographer/editor Robin Kewell there to present his film and answer questions.

Seven years and 3,500 hours of footage has been edited down to four hours. The film gives us a rare insiders view of how it all happened, a ‘warts and all’ roller coaster ride. Out of the sterile depths of a disused china clay pit in Cornwall has risen one of the most remarkable and ambitious ventures in recent memory. Eden’s biomes are the largest greenhouses in the world and are the result of Tim Smit’s vision of showcasing the plants that changed the world and reminds us how dependent we are on plants. His dream inspired botanists, engineers, architects, artists and crucially financiers both public and private.
Where will they get enough plants to fill the worlds largest greenhouses?, how will they pay for it all and how will they have it completed in such a short time? when nothing like this had ever been built before. The films show how it was possible, with the hope and energy of a small number of people who transformed a thrilling idea into a breath- taking reality. With the proposed Christchurch Eden this will be a chance to see the highs and lows of making such a dream come true.
This will be the New Zealand premiere of the complete film and includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
Starting at 10am with Part one, then morning tea, Part 2 followed by a buffet lunch, Part 3 with afternoon tea, ending with Part 4 finishing around 4-30pm. There will be time to ask questions and stretch legs between films during the day.

Ticket includes refreshments and buffet lunch.
Bookings are essential.
