Learn how to give your edible garden the best chance of success. Start a small garden to grow something you want to eat. Try doing things differently to get some better growing results.

This is a two hour workshop for you if you've tried and been disappointed or overwhelmed with growing veggies. There might be two or three things you'll learn that make all the difference. We'll focus on starting with salad greens and herbs. You'll need to be prepared to spend ten minutes a day in your garden.

If this sounds exciting and your ready to try some new ideas in your garden, this workshop is for you. If ten minutes a day sounds way more than is reasonable, then it's probably not a good time for you to add gardening to your 'to do list'.

Part 1 will be on Saturday 25 November 2017 - you can attend part 1 or part 2 or both.
- Choosing where to grow things to eat.
- Soil - improve what you've got or buy in?
- Make the most of your site.
- Container options.
- Planning some practical next steps.

Part 2 Saturday 2 December 2017
- What and how much to grow?
- Starting plants - seeds or seedlings?
- Spacing - how much can I fit in?
- Compost and improving your soil.
- Planning some practical next steps.
