Audio Foundation is very pleased to announce Bulgasari NZ - a major project hosting a large group of established and emerging Korean sound artists and experimental musicians in residence at the Audio Foundation.

The group of performers and artists selected all gravitate toward Yogiga, a venue, art-space in Seoul where regular events take place as part of the 'Bulgasari' series. These nights are where the Yogiga community present new and experimental works of music and art.

This group exhibition will follow a similar logic, with its contents emerging as an outcome of the Yogiga group's time in Aotearoa. Throughout June and July, Lee Hanjoo, Lee Bong Gyo, Yukie Sato, Taegyung Seo and Soojung Kae will be in residence at the Audio Foundation, collaborating with local musicians and artists, producing recordings, rehearsing toward a series of concerts, and preparing works to be exhibited in the Audio Foundation gallery space.

In addition, the group will travel around Aotearoa, participating in events in Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
