The Waikato Goethe Society is a non-profit organisation passionate about German language and culture.

We are inviting members and non-members to watch a series of German (English- subtitled) movies.

This is a public event and all are welcome!
This is the first of two screenings for 2017.

Benjamin, a young German computer whiz, is invited to join a subversive hacker group that wants to be noticed on the world's stage.

Who Am I is a 2014 German techno-thriller film directed by Baran bo Odar. It is centred on a computer hacker group in Berlin that gears towards global fame. It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. The film was shot in Berlin and Rostock.

There are door sales only on the evening, and you cannot pre-purchase tickets on the Lido website.
Proceeds of this event go towards promoting German culture and language in the Waikato.
