Happiness and suffering are feelings - parts of our mind - and so their main causes are not to be found outside the mind.

On this day course, we will gain a deep insight into our mind, and discover how an understanding of its nature and functions can be used practically in everyday experience to improve our lives. Learn how to recognise and abandon states of mind that harm us and make us unhappy, and replace them with peaceful and beneficial ones. Start to make happiness your immediate reality.

The Teacher of this course is Kelsang Shechog, a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington. Kelsang Shechog is much loved for her gentle manner, inner strength and clear, skilful teachings.

Cost & booking:
Includes refreshments ( the course is free for Centre Members).
Refreshments are provided, however, bring your own lunch to enjoy at our Meditation Centre or take a short stroll to enjoy the nearby Island Bay cafes. Booking is required.
