Good pruning = good fruiting! Good pruning means feet on the ground, no more ladders!

Though the best (and simplest) time to make this happen is when trees are young, wild and woolly trees can be tamed too!

I'll demo a mix of pip fruit - a young apple in training, an established apple and a free standing pear. We'll check out the espalier Nashi's and two year old peaches. We'll chat (if there's time we'll prune) a mature plum too.

Take home my pruning notes, and enjoy a homemade morning tea and cup of coffee.

Wear your gumboots.

Because pruning can only happen on a dry day, we'll have to be flexible! Postponement date is Saturday 1st July.
