In the words of Ricky Baker: It just got real!

In celebration of Taika Waititi winning New Zealander of the Year this week (ka pai!), we've decided to show one of his latest and greatest films for our next Outdoor Movie Night. Come on down on 6th March for a free screening of Hunt for the Wilderpeople. It's gonna be majestical.

About the movie (directed by Taika Waititi):
"Bad egg" rebellious teenage orphan Ricky Baker (Julian Dennison) is shipped off to live with a foster family in the New Zealand countryside. Unhappy with his new surroundings, he attempts to run away and hide in the unforgiving wilderness. His reluctant caretaker Hec (Sam Neill) eventually finds him, and the unlikely duo survive in the harsh terrain as a nationwide manhunt is launched to find them. But they didn't choose the skux life - the skux life chose them.

You hungry? That's a silly question isn't it, look at you! As always, our Outdoor Movie Night will have themed drinks, popcorn, blankets, hotties, and movie snacks available.

Our licensing laws forbid us to allow patrons U18 in our bar after 5pm, so please do bring your ID with you - or bring your parent along if you aren't 18.
