Over the last few years fascia has been recognised more and more for its importance in a well-balanced body.

In this workshop we will be looking at what fascia is, how it responds, and what the implications are in our movement and life experience. We will also look at several techniques to release and stimulate the Fascia, as well as experience practical applications.

Fascia is the connective tissue that holds the whole body together, as well as separating into segments. Moving and releasing the body, with the understanding it is a whole organic network, helps unwind tensions and allow it to move back to its natural state.

The meridians or nadis are closely linked to the anatomy trains, trains of muscles connected through a fascial network running through the body. When these trains are free the energy flow is enhanced.

Presented by Sankalpananda (Wendy Vermeulen), this workshop is great for yoga and fitness teachers as well as anatomy and sports students and anyone else wanting to learn more about fascia.
