This is an introduction to the Italian language and culture taught in an enjoyable and communicative way. No previous knowledge of Italian is required. Please call 473 0832 if you cannot make it to the scheduled time, as class time could be rearranged, or if you would like individual lessons. Due to late enrolment, the starting date might be postponed. The price indicated is based on the participation of at least 4 students.
The instructor is Antonella Vecchiato, a native speaker of Italian born and raised in Venice. She is a trained linguist (PhD in Linguistics, University of Southern California), and has over 15 years of teaching experience from beginners to advanced courses in universities (USC, Otago), community (Adult Community Education programmes at Logan Park and Bayfield High Schools), and private classes. Antonella is also one of the founders and the current chair of the Dunedin Italian community group, La Piccola Italia, and passionate about introducing the Italian language and culture to Dunedin.
