What better than some Jazz music in the midst of the vines in Summer. The awesome Jazz trio “ Golden Apples For Everyone” featuring Caleb Robinson, Rosie Langabeer & Margot Wuts take the stage at Abbey Winery & Brewery.

Caleb Robinson, bassist, composer, producer who performs both nationally and internationally in collaboration with many recognized and well respected Artists.
Caleb is the bassist for Little Bushman along side Warren Maxwell, Rick Cranson and Joe Callwood and has performed/composed music with Iva Lamkum producing her self-titled EP and album Black Eagle. His is also the bassist for John Psathas international ensemble "No man's land".
Caleb studied music extensively and has attained a high level of achievement at the New Zealand School of Music in both performance and music education. He specialises in upright bass, as well as the electric and synth bass.

Rosie Langabeer is a rare combination of musical intelligence, talent, and practice along with humour, irreverence and fearlessness. Her wonderfully honest voice can make you want to cry and then sprinkle in some robot-bird-monsters. She has been hailed in the New York Times for her ability to time bend and is an incendiary piano player, her performances like nitrous oxide, both the drag racing kind and the dentist’s gas.

Her list of collaborators is extensive and includes percussionist Chris O'Connor, vocalist Margot Pierard, bass player Caleb Robinson, Guggenheim Fellow Neil Feather, and bands Golden Apples For Everyone, Settled Arrows, TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb and Totally Super Pregnant. Recent festival appearances include: Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival (MA, USA, 2016), the High Zero Festival of experimental and improvised music, Baltimore, (MD, USA, 2016), Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival, (Havelock North, NZ, 2016 and 2017), Joyce Theater Ballet Festival (NY, USA, 2015) and Bowerbird’s John Cage Festival Philadelphia, (PA, USA, 2013)

Margot Pierard is no stranger to Hawkes Bay audiences , having regularly performed in various groups since moving back to Napier from Wellington over ten years ago. She sings in a wide variety of styles but her first great love has always been vocal Jazz in the vein of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn.
After leaving home to study Jazz at the Christchurch Jazz school, Margot moved to Auckland where she promptly found residencies with the funk band “Colours”. When this finished Margot moved to Wellington where she promptly became a fixture on the scene working with cover bands, The Jazz band “Shaken not Stirred” and performed a critically lauded Nina Simone Tribute in Wellington's International Jazz Festival. She went on to become a regular member of the well known percussion group “ Strike” (Strike Sound system) alongside Lisa Tomlins (Fat Freddies Drop, Fly My Pretties etc) headlining such events as “The Queenstown Winter Festival” and “ The Manukau Arts Festival.
Most recently Margot has performed two sell out shows in consecutive years in the “Hawkes Bay Arts Festival” and currently with Jazz trio “ Golden Apples For Everyone”
