Brad and Umar are supported by local jazz stalwart, Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa on drums, known for playing with French For Rabbits, Glass Vaults and the Wellington City Shake-'Em-On-Downers.

The album ‘Lab 2015’, in which Kang was a composer and player, received a Grammy nomination for one of the tracks ‘Neil’. He has performed with Bobby McFerrin, Arturo Sandoval, Doc Severinson, Mike LeDonne, Wycliffe Gordon, Mike Clark and Adam Larson.
