Juliet McLean is a Taranaki based singer songwriter who began collaborating with Rob Ju (drums) and Hamish Cameron (bass) whilst recording her EP “The Dance” in 2015.

With the addition of Richie Isaacs the trio give an eclectic groove to her soulful, piano led, jazz infused songs.

McLean’s lyrical writing displays her curiosity for words, along with how the personal narrative speaks to the universal. An eclectic musical style makes it hard to place – instead, imagine Natalie Merchant leading Nick Cave on a dance of passion and yearning.

Juliet and her band The Navigators have played in a variety of venues from theatres to parks, lounges and bars, always delighting in the alchemy of live performance.
