Katherine Mansfield was drawn to the brilliant artistry of Russian composers and writers. Their influence would show her how to create a new form of short story. But more than this, in Russian culture, manners, taste and emotion, Katherine would discover a way of being that she loved.

Experience this beautiful new exhibition this autumn. See the famous red dress portrait of Katherine Mansfield, read the intimate letters to her friend, the Russian translator, Koteliansky, and learn how to write your name in Cyrillic script.
