Welcome to Somnium. At the center you see Somnium awaits feeding. Around the edges you will find four writing desks. In this universe there exist four human states: The Wise, The Optimist, The Fast and The Peaceful. Contemplate on each and then choose which state most relates to you in this moment. Once you have chosen, take your place at that writing desk and prepare your offering.

Somnium only digests dreams that are true, that are from the very depths, that are authentically yours. Think on both the light and the dark: the ambition that fires you, the doubt that haunts, the bitterness that sours, the reflection that soothes. Write down your deepest dreams: the good or the bad. When you are done, feed it, carefully, into the ravenous belly of Somnium where it will exist in that state until the final Ritual: On 21June Somnium comes to the end of the feasting and to the beginning of the final transformation. Fire will release us all and Somnium will carry our dreams to the universe.

Somnium creature made by Leda Farrow.
Installation Produced by Pirate & Queen.
