The Historic Ohoka Hall will be transformed into a Vaudevillian Music Hall Theatre to welcome Ma Bell and her famous travelling pop-up cabaret road show back to Waimakariri. Featuring La Crème de la Crème of Canterbury's finest musicians, performance artists, and entertainers from the Jazz Blues and Urban Folk, Country realms, all coming together for what promises to be a night to remember.
Ma Bell's Guests include Janice Gray, Elizabeth Braggins, Graham Wardrop, Tom Rainey, Bob Heinz & Peter Fleming. Special pop in guests includes the sensational multi-award winning burlesque star Miss Danger Doll who graces the stage to entertain with her feminine beauty, allure and tease. Warning! if you are offended by the beauty and sensuality of the barely clad feminine form - This show is not for you.
Meet the infamous Madame Tragédie, a time travelling story teller and blues siren with a hat full of lotions, potions and the wildest of notions who's travel companions include an Ancient Crone, a Grand Duchess, Divine Divas, Old Codgers and Grand Masters, plus a host of musical luminaries to light the path as together they go in search of a paradise lost.
Local folk and country balladeer Colin Stephen joins the stunning line up with a special ANZAC Tribute.
