Scottish born Celtic soul blues icon Isabella (Izzy) Miller Bell Aka Ma Bell brings her famous travelling pop up cabaret roadshow to Nelson and Marlborough featuring a selection of absolute world class independent South Island touring concert musicians/ performance artists of our time.

Meet the infamous Madame Tragédie - a blues siren and story teller who will captivate and seduce you to travel with her on a musical odyssey that will lift you up to the dizziest of heights and cast you down into the darkest of nights, as she goes in search of a paradise lost accompanied by a host of luminaries to light the way forward.

Travel companions include The Pennyblacks with songs of love, loss and lunacy, featuring sassy lyricist and domestic goddess Penny Cain accompanied by the quintessential broken rock god that is Dunedin born Jimmy Taylor, a guitarist and showman who has toured with some of Britain's rock royalty including Queen, The Pretenders and Dave Stewart of Spiritual Cowboys, Eurythmics fame.

The sultry diva and ridiculously talented singer and pianist Elizabeth Braggins joins the star studded line up, and Ma Bell struts her stuff with Mama's got the Blues showcasing award winning slide/fingerstyle guitarist Susan Leigh Grant. They will be joined by Nelson based Celtic musician Barrie McDonald on accordion and mandolin.

Join us if you dare for an evening of top shelf acoustic urban folk, classic & country blues, Jazz 'n' soul mingled with Vaudevillian and Music Hall Theatre.

No stone left unturned - from birth to death with all the juicy bits in between - Not recommended for the fainthearted.
