We’ll be in Raglan sharing our work and sharing in the fun for Māui Dolphin Day this March.

With fewer than 100 left in the wild, this New Zealand treasure needs all our help to survive. We are proud to support the Whaingaroa Environment Centre's (external site) Māui Dolphin Day and a community that cares.

The evening before Māui Dolphin Day we'll be sharing the latest research and scientific studies with the community.

There is still a lot we don't know about Māui dolphin. We are involved with numerous stakeholders and conduct a wide range of work to increase our knowledge about Māui dolphin ecology, conservation status, life history and threats.

We'll look at how this information and the work of other agencies, creates a picture of the environment we share with Māui dolphins from land to harbour to sea.
