Laughter is often seen as being the world’s best medicine. It helps make you more attractive to others, it increases your emotional health, relaxes the entire body, and can add years to your life.

Laughter also reduces stress and anxiety levels, relieves pain, boosts the immune system, and increases resilience in life.

The benefits of laughter are now being increasingly recognised and promoted throughout the world, including through such sources as the University of Laughter in India, online courses, and many locations around the world including here in Browns Bay.

So come along and hear Louise Stevens, a Laughter Yoga Leader talk about Laughter Yoga and its many health benefits.

Louise’s talk will focus on how laughter can help people with stress and depression, and how laughter can often be the easiest way to reverse long terms situations. She will also show you some simple techniques that can make a difference.

You will also be invited to participate in some laughing and to evaluate for yourself how you feel both before and after. Louise Stevens is a Natural Therapist and Laughter Yoga Leader, and has studied, and actively been involved in, Laughter and Laughter Yoga since 2008.

Join us for morning tea and biscuits from 10:30am, with the talk beginning at 10:45am. Everyone is welcome.
