"Healthy and constructive conflict is a component of high-functioning teams."

When people with varying viewpoints, experiences, skills, and opinions are tasked with a project or challenge, the combined effort can far surpass what any group of similar minded individuals could achieve. However, these very same differences can create distress and cause for conflict.

Maintaining a healthy level of interpersonal disagreement can be difficult at times but the fact that it exists is not necessarily a bad thing. When resolved effectively, conflict can eliminate many hidden problems that it brings to the surface.

During this lunch hour session, we will consider:
- What your natural conflict management style is
- The key skills that individuals need to develop to understand and appreciate the various viewpoints involved in conflict and
- How to maintain a healthy balance of constructive difference of opinion.

The focus during this session will be in the workplace however, the same principles can be applied elsewhere.

You are welcome to bring your lunch, tea and coffee are provided.
Limited spaces - Email to secure your spot!
