Created by Sir Peter Jackson and supported by ANZ, The Great War Exhibition tells the story of the First World War in brilliant colour. It brings the ordeals of this pivotal time in history into the modern day, melting away 100 years, helping us to understand the hardships endured by those who served and those who stayed behind.

In the spirit of Matariki, we have an exclusive opportunity to remember the dead and tell the story of Maori in the Great War. Our knowledgeable guide will provide both an educational and emotional experience connecting our visitors with the story of our soldiers. Admission charges apply, however, the tour is available at no additional cost.

The duration of the tour is approximately 1 hour.

Bookings are essential as availability is limited.
Bookings can be made via phone on (04) 978 5200 or online at
