Martha Louise will be back on June the 2nd with her Appalachian dulcimer and guitar to sing a mix of original songs from her two CD’s and favourites by some of America’s iconic storytelling songwriters like Steve Earle, Townes Van Zandt, and Gillian Welch.

But wait… there’s more.

This time Martha is bringing a group of friends to add instrumental ‘tricky bits’ and stellar harmonies. They are Paul Symons on guitar & vocals who you will remember from the group Too Far Gone and Cam Bennett on Dobro and vocals who along with Paul are both wonderful singer-songwriters in their own right. And joining them is Stuart Grimshaw playing bass who Martha met playing at the Thursday night open mic sessions at one2one café last year.

It’s a special blend of music and friendship and respect for each other’s talents. They have put together a set of music from the quietly contemplative Gillian Welch song ‘Everything is free now’ to the high energy original tune Down the Road and a little gospel too. Come on along.
